I would have to say emphatically "Yes!" So many things I love about this chapter. All the best stuff from Prophecies and Factions and a host of new improvements. I've barely come up for air since I started playing it.
I think a few things will get tweaked here and there as they see how things work but overall I'm very very pleased with my purchase! |

i recomend that if you have anything to accomplish in prophesies and factions that you do it and wait for the price to come down

I think i will go with what hammyone said, and get some more of my characters through the previous games. By the time i'm done with that the price should be down to $40, i hope

Seemed like it was really short... definately lacking the "epic" feel that prophecies has.

I've barely played, and it already seems more than worth it. It's so good so far, that I'd say that even the normal edition is worth how much the CE costs, and the CE is worth even more. (Luckily stores don't sell it for that much! )
Like Pkest said, its seems like it took everything good from factions and prophecies, and then added on to it with things like heros and such. |

$50 for standard edition is rip-off price. The cheapest place has something like $35

play.com has GW Nightfall for 27 euros (shipping included). It probably can't send it everywhere with that price but just a good example what is cheap Nightfall.

Yep, the standard edition is a bargain from a few UK retailers. If I wanted the CE, I'd wait a while - IIRC, Play.com put Factions CE in one of their sales a month or two after it launched.
Whatever the price, it's the best Guild Wars I've played and I've barely even scratched the surface (I'm not into rushing through). |
